2021-04-15 We recently received a large-ish collection of unneeded computer equipment from Sage & Swift[1]
This has made me re-think what I want to do with all the surplus equipment and other supplies we have been accumulating here at Hypertwin Manor. I'm still working on the details, but I'd like to set up a cooperative swap-shop where folks could ask for what they need and contribute only what they can afford (even if that's nothing at all -- or maybe a dozen eggs, or yardwork, or cryptocoin, or whatever they might have to offer), on an asynchronous (non-transactional) basis.
If you're interested in participating in any way, please email me at hce2021 [at-sign] wooz.dev or DM me on Discord (Woozle#5658). —Woozle (talk) 21:42, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
Footnote
- ↑ They're relocating from their old building way out in southeast Durham to a more convenient location near Hope Valley, and they also expect to be doing a lot more of their work remotely -- so a lot of what I was supporting for them (mainly desktops, printers, and an office LAN) aren't really needed anymore.
